What is 10:10?
At Commission we are not only passionate about mission and church planting, but equipping members of our local church communities in their God given identity and purpose in Christ. 10:10 is a day CST is hosting to encourage and envision our singles to find their identity and fulfilment in life through living for Christ and doing so to the full.
We are eager that our churches should be environments where every person is called to fulfil their God given destiny whether married, single, divorced or otherwise. Through interaction with some of our singles we have identified a need to address the wrong, if subliminal message, that one needs to be married in order to be truly fulfilled in life. 10:10 is not a ‘meet your mate’ event, rather a call to purity and adventure for those freed from some of the constraints of marriage, so come and be spurred on to have ‘life in abundance.'
When is it?
Saturday 26th November 2016.
Where is it?
Citygate Centre, Bournemouth (BH8 8AS). Directions can be found here.
We're really excited to have two incredible speakers already lined up for the 10:10 day!
Sam Allberry, who spoke so excellently at Westpoint last year will be teaching at 10:10. Sam is part of St Mary's Church, Maidenhead and is the author of "Is God Anti-Gay?" Sam's testimony of life as a same-sex attracted Christian is both challenging but also full of the joy of knowing Jesus.
Wendy Mann, who many will know from King's Arm Church, Bedford and who overseas their Training for Supernatural Ministry, will also be teaching at the day. Wendy is the author of "Naturally Supernatural" and is passionate about believers grasping who they are in Christ so they are empowered to run the unique race God has marked out for them.
Who is it for?
10:10 is a day predominantly for the single people in our churches. However if you aren't single and would be interested in coming along, you would be more than welcome to. As a CST owned event, it is aimed for the 18-30s age group, although there is no pre-determined age limit placed on the day. It is also an open invite so please feel free to invite those from other churches in your town if you feel they would benefit.
Why should I go?
Unlike many of the events focused at single people, this is not a day seeking to find your significant other but rather it is a time for encouragement and understanding your identity in Christ. We hope that through coming to 10:10 you'll refreshed and evisioned to pursue your God given destiny, whatever form that takes.
