Commission Students & Twenties

10 Feb 2015

Last weekend, over 300 students and twenties from across Commission churches gathered in Portsmouth’s Guildhall for CST 2015. It was a great time of encountering God: through his Word, through worship and through being able to encourage one another in faith.

Matt Hosier, Tim Blaber, Guy Miller and Terry Virgo spoke at our main meetings – sharing their heart and encouragements for us as a group, yet also provoking us through some pretty challenging insights! The message of Jonah was especially key in reminding us about listening to God, and being obedient to the things he calls us to.

Matt Giles and the band did a fantastic job of leading us in worship, truly enabling the congregation to focus on the greatness of who God is. There was also a great range of seminars and workshops...from hearing from a world-renowned leader in practically working out what it means to follow God’s will in our lives.

The team at ChristCentral Church, Portsmorth served us so fantastically (not forgetting our fab team of Impacters!) so thank you to them!

Feedback from the weekend has been really positive:

“CST was a brilliant chance to worship and meet with God with so many other like-minded people my age. We learnt a lot and were really challenged to be living for God wherever we are in life. I have come back to uni encouraged and excited about the next place that God is going to take me. Can’t wait for next year!”
