Adults programme

About

With a wide range of meeting styles and contents, there is something for everyone at Westpoint.

Whether you like worshipping with thousands of others or prefer a more informal environment with a cup of coffee in hand, Westpoint is the place for you.

Key speakers

We’re thrilled that Guy Miller will be joined by Dave Devenish and Tope Koleoso as our adult mainstage guest speakers for Westpoint 2018. Dave and Tope are both celebrated authors and fantastic speakers.

Adult meetings

Join us every day in the main arena for inspiring and equipping talks from a range of speakers. In the mornings we will start our days with a short time of worship and a bible reading. We’ll gather again in the evenings for a night of encountering God through worship and insightful talks.

The Hub

For those of you that prefer to access the adult meetings in a more informal venue, we livestream our adult meetings in The Hub and the Commission YouTube channel.

The Hub will also be the venue for our “out of hours” entertainment, which takes place straight after the evening meeting.

Count everyone in

Each morning there will be a session intended specifically, but not exclusively for adults with learning disabilities and on the autism spectrum. These sessions include sensitively led worship, easy to understand Bible teaching, drama, art, craft and much more.

Seminars

We have an exciting choice of seminars on a variety of topics from a diverse range of speakers. There’s something for everyone, whether you enjoy deeply theological subjects or practical application to everyday issues.

Worship Extra

For those who prefer an extended time of worship in the mornings, there will be an opportunity to soak in God’s presence in The Hub. Join us as we explore the theme for this year through songs, prayer and prophecy, as we seek to move in the gifts God has for us.

Westpoint Livestream

Whether you’re on or off-site, you can access the adult mainstage meetings via our livestream during the meetings. Recordings from seminars should be uploaded within a few days of the event.

“Always so blessed by the incredible teaching and worship times we have together in the main meetings. Westpoint has been a highlight of our year since it began.”

More in The Hub

The place to go to browse a range of stalls from various companies, including the ever popular Keith Jones bookshop. There will be a variety of exhibitors and charities and a café where you’ll find hot drinks, cakes and plenty of sofas.

Each year, we select a number of exhibitors, businesses and organisations to have a stall in The Hub. If you are interested in exhibiting, contact stallholders@commission-together.org.

Workshops

Every year we provide a range of workshops, from sushi-making to falconry displays, from arts and crafts to bushcraft skills. You will be sure to find something that takes your fancy. Whether you want to try your hand at something new or develop an existing skill, the Festival at Westpoint will have it all.

After hours

The festival fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. A range of late night activities will be on offer, often including comedy acts and music performances.

There’s even a quiz so you can have a go at proving that you know more useless facts than anyone else!
