Spain itself is a relatively ´new frontier’ for our group of churches with a church plant in Madrid that is still in the early stages:
Over 13% of the whole population of Spain live in the region of Madrid while the city itself has experienced growth of over a 1 million people in the last 10 years. This makes it a strategic place to plant a church as a potential platform to reach the nation of Spain as well as other Hispanic nations.
Madrileños (inhabitants of Madrid) also have a reputation for being friendly and welcoming. This has certainly been the experience of Kevin and Vanessa Bartlett who moved to Madrid from Salisbury in 2011. They have gathered a good team and are now gathering small groups in different parts of the city. They are looking to see these engaging in their neighbourhoods and growing through salvation before launching a more public Sunday meeting.
In addition to the church plant in Madrid there are an increasing number of churches in Iberia with which we enjoy a warm relationship. Please contact us if you would like more information.
