What is it?
We’re running a full day workshop that will help you to build a mutually beneficial relationship with people working in the media, and equip you to handle press
The workshop will seek to answer the following questions:
- How can you increase the chances of local media covering your events?
- Don’t journalists just want to trip you up?
- How can you become a port of call for reporters when big local news stories break?
- What happens when they want your views on controversial subjects?
- How do I get better coverage for my church/project?
- Should you ever say ‘no comment’?
We are delighted that Natalie Williams is the speaker for the workshop. Natalie has an MA in Political Communications and has worked as a journalist on national and regional newspapers both in the UK and in Beijing, China.
